Michael Wollf describes in vivid and alarming detail the first nine months of Donald Trump’s presidency. Infuriated by the criticisms of him in the forthcoming book, Donald Trump launched, as President, an unsuccessful legal action against the publisher to have the book withdrawn. This legal attack by Trump had the effect of increasing the book’s salesl. Before its release on January 5, the book and e-book reached number one both on Amazon and the Apple iBooks Store. and by January 8th over one million books had been sold or ordered. The two further volumes in Wolff’s biographical trilogy cover the rest of Trump’s presidency.

Michael Wolff (born 1953), the son of an advertising professional, graduated from Columbia University. While at university he worked for the New York Times as a copy boy. He then developed a career as a magazine journalist, including six years writing a weekly column for New York magazine.
